In 2006, New York’s Downtown Community Television Centre (DCTV) and Internews Russia participated in a unique media exchange. Journalists from Russia traveled cross country in the U.S. to connect Russians and Americans in face-to-face exchanges that served to bring the two countries together in a mutually beneficial and newsworthy manner.

In this documentary of the tour, DCTV's CyberCar carries five of Russia's most promising and talented young television reporters to locations across the United States. The CyberCar is a 40-foot long hi-tech mobile production vehicle, featuring an external Times Square-style video wall on its side. Tour stops include Town Meetings, which feature video screenings about rarely-seen Russian life produced by the Russian reporters. Throughout the tour, the Russian reporters film their experiences and exchanges with American audiences, creating news segments that will be broadcast in their home country.
