The International community hasn't been too silent recently.
Shimon Peres got a very cold reception last week at Oxford University UK when he was trying to give a speech(surrounded by thuggish looking body guards).
There were masses of British protesters outside on the grass screaming "war criminal" "Nazi",and blaming him(and the Knesset) for the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians and sixty++ years of atrocities.
People inside the auditorium too, got up and heckled him calling him "war criminal" and shouting about the Gaza siege and the murder of innocent men,women,elderly,sick and CHILDREN and the banning on the International media to Gaza.
Peres may think that it's just a FEW silly students at two historical academic institutions, BUT, Oxford and Cambridge are the hub of Western European academia,with multi-national,muti-cultural students.
When you see Oxford and Cambridge protesting loudly you can guarantee that the majority of Western Europe feels the same.
Their voices REFLECT the feelings of MANY thousands of people throughout Europe right now,and echo the frustration and anger that Europe is feeling toward the SHAME that Israel has brought to the tenets of ethics,morals,legality AND HUMANITY.
Not to mention shaming the Covenent and Ten Commandments.
ESPECIALLY after what the Jewish people(and others)went through THEMSELVES in the 1930's-40's.
Peres may have a Nobel prize,and now be 'SIR' Shimon Peres, but to many people all over Europe,AND GROWING IN THE STATES,he has NOT honored the 'HONORS' bestowed on him.
He remains just another empty vessel,with EMPTY words,gathering dust in the Holy Land. His words are as EMPTY as Condi Rice's.
If only his words were proven by his DEEDS!

Hamas might be at fault for certain things but 1.5 million Gazans cannot be all guilty! The international community has been silent and now Abbas has been ploting against them.

She needs to spray a lil' Chevron oil(if she's out of WD-40)into her cerebral cavities and get the juice of reason and common-sense running again.

Nothing positive,OF ANY WORTH FOR HUMANITY,has been achieved and it wasn't EXPECTED to be achieved by Israeli ideology,Palestinian cyanism,and American one-sidedness.
Israel will never VOLUNTARILY seek 'peace'in a two-State solution(never mind a ONE-STATE civilized Holy Land). They don't have the courage,the intellect,the soul or the humanity.
And,as long as Fatah are paid to 'speak' American and Hamas are paid to 'speak' Farsi,they will never(TO ISRAELS DELIGHT)come together and 'speak' PALESTINIAN ARABIC!! Their NATIONAL 'LANGUAGE'!
The only thing "achieved",in another eight LONG,WASTED YEARS,is that America,and Israel look MORE HYPOCRITICAL and more BRUTAL,in GLOBAL eyes.
Some "achievement" EH?
REALLY 'NOBEL' noble.
And Democrats and Republicans have SLIPPED up,on a LOT of 'banana skins'.

On her eighth and possibly final trip to Israel and the West Bank, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice declared during a press conference in the town of Jenin that both Palestinians and Israelis remain committed to peace negotiations, and the U.S. will continue to support their efforts.

"The distance to that peace has narrowed," she said, "although the peace has not yet been achieved."
